That’s why it’s called present 🎁 The gift is the time of your life! Maybe 70 years? 27,000 days? 657000 hours? 40,734,000 minutes? Idk. 1440 minutes every day. That’s your gift, that’s the real wealth! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH IT? Chase a worthless fiat currency that can be created out of thin air? I don’t think so! Chase respect from people that don’t even respect themselves? I don’t think so! Comply with a system that goes against human nature and human spirit? No way! Good reminder brother! Thanks

I will push back if I may. Our past does matter. It affects our present state. And our present affects our future state, which, from a Christian point of view, is all important. That said, our present duty is not merely to enjoy, but to unite ourselves to Jesus Christ -- to redeem our past and to ensure our future. We should be mindful of our past, present, and future and offer it all to God. That is our duty, our calling.

100%, it does matter. But it is also dead, gone, done, finished. A lot of us, I'm talking about myself first and foremost, tend to dwell on the past. That's not a good way to go about. Here's a note from my journal that touches on this matter: “Dwelling on past mistakes is a mistake. Ignoring past mistakes is an even bigger mistake. The only viable option is to learn from them. Learn and let go. Know, but let go. Forgive, but don’t forget. Life is about giving (forGIVING), not getting (forGETTING).” And yes, it's all an offering to God 🙏

You're right about that. Marinating in the mistakes of our past is not helpful. But remembering the past, even mistakes, is good, because we can learn from them. We can also use it as an opportunity to awaken and animate our gratitude toward God for his mercy and providence -- and to resolve to do better for love of him. I know it's sometimes hard to forgive ourselves and move on. So if that's what you're saying, then "right on." 👍
I love the fact that now that I'm a "vlogger" I can talk to myself out loud and it's not weird anymore. In fact, it's in, it's cool. "Why am I talking to myself? What do you mean why am I talking to myself? I'M VLOGGIN', MAN. Why are you NOT talking to yourself? It's the hottest thing right now, bro. Get with the program."
Vlogging is journaling on steroids: not only do you have to be articulate with your words on the go, you also have to be ready to be scrutinized by the public!
