nothing we can do about, as someone who’s only internet experience (age/generation wise) has been the conglomerate of centralized private companies, it’s very hard to not use them when they seemingly have a monopoly on the decades archive of content stores on youtube. i like my john butler meditation videos on youtube, im unable to use nostr sadly, even though i’d love that.

One thing people don't talk about is how a decentralized censorship-resistant video host would naturally copy YouTube's library starting with the videos people are most motivated to back up, since the censorship resistance would mean no authorities being able to prevent so-called "piracy" or whatever

They let you open ports manually every time you connect to the VPN but that's not the same as actual port forwarding support like AirVPN has and others used to have in the past
I am not married with a vpn provider, choose the vpn or no vpn you need. Assuming vpn providers are honeypots looks In most cases not far from the truth.
