All the firewood we need for the winter is split. I stack about 1 month of wood by the door at a time. Thanks to my generous and tough as nails neighbor, who split it all for me. He's retired and could see I was struggling to find time to get wood prepared for the winter. He told me it just felt good to know he was fortunate enough to be able to help someone. This might be the first winter where we have wood leftover.
