I just built a budgeting app with Claude code that doesn’t connect to the internet encrypts my data files at rest and can digest financial statements to assist my budgeting with a local library without reference to the internet or llms and exports a budgeting spreadsheet with private statement data purged. I’m apparently a developer now. wtf is happening!?

I was literally reading each request and figuring out what it meant before approving. I’m sure I’ll still get pwned before too late it’s too much fun. I guess I’m buying a new computer.

Critical thinking skills expand to all fields. I think so long as you can get the thing to explain itself as it goes in a way that satisfies you, you'll be alright.
