I disagree with involving the state is a bitch move. Everyone has the right to ask the state for protection. And every person has then the right to be heared from a public court, if the allegation is false.

Doxxing someone, on purpose and with malice, is a violation of both the EU GDPR and German criminal law, under Section 126a of the StGB (Dangerous dissemination of personal data).

What is the core problem here? The state will not protect you. They will waste years of everyone's time, probably deciding wrongly (it's a coin toss) and no one will be better off.
The story of state protection from the books is wonderful, but then after 10 years and tens or hundreds thousands of dollars, everyone's just tired, annoyed, regardless of the result.
This state protection is just a shitty service.
