I started making ground beef jerky by accident in 2019 and started selling it to people all over the US not long after that. Then the world plunged into a terrible time, and things have not been the same since. In the six years I've been making my jerky and selling online, suppliers have changed their prices (meat, packaging, supplies, shipping) and I have not raised mine. Each jerky package has always been $6 sold by the 2-pack for $12, and it is still the same (now priced in sats). Thanks for the support of the nostr folks who have given me the opportunity to please their palates with my unique jerky flavors. I accidentally had some very lean ground beef land in my online grocery order, and I'm not a fan of really lean ground beef, but I knew I could probably make jerky out of it. So I decided to learn how I can make it at home, but since most recipes call for use of dehydrators and/or smokers, jerky guns, curing agents or specialized seasoning blends (which I did not have any of) I figured out how to make it without. Out of interest, how many grams do you put in a package? Beef Jerky is slowly becoming a thing over here but they want like €5 for 40g bags.
