I’m using it as a proxy for current purchasing power. And it matters as a percentage. That’s why I used the word equivalent. In other words if a bitcoin is equivalent to a million dollars, then a $100 fee would be 1/10000 of a bitcoin.

Yeah, for sure. If anything, I think it’ll be an adaptability experiment (at least for on-chain fees for the user). We may not know for decades how that shakes out. I believe it moves us toward a more productive and longer term thinking world, though.
