Good thing transaction fees have never and will never be paid in dollars. Any model that predicts a security model that uses dollar amounts, throw it in the trash.

I’m using it as a proxy for current purchasing power. And it matters as a percentage. That’s why I used the word equivalent.
In other words if a bitcoin is equivalent to a million dollars, then a $100 fee would be 1/10000 of a bitcoin.
