Scott Alexander is always attached to these sites that have a particular kind of very satisfying, clear and simple UX
but it can pick **yours** (or more likely: get you to do it without you realizing why you did it).
The real threat is NSA or MSS using this shit to sift through the entire internet, coorelate activity across nyms, and crush opposition.

The most unrealistic part is the idea that governments haven’t already woken up to AI.
A former NSA chief and head of US cyber command [1] has been on the board of OpenAI for almost a year. The Chinese government has deemed AI critical to their goals [2] at least as far back as 2017.

I'm not necessarily worried about AGI, but I'm certainly worried about runaway exponential change to which humans may not be able to adapt quickly enough for us to survive.
