You need to start calling out the bots in your real life, anon.

Very true, but there is also the argument for consensus and drone like group thinking. Imagine if every ant in a colony decided to do its own thing 😂

I mean, I agree but feel the same way talking to liberals with outsourced MSNBC views as I do conservatives with outsourced Fox views. Same shit pie, different spices. My conservative dad and my liberal father in law both think Bitcoin is a fraud because they were botted into it by their media programming.

Right, political agreement aside, it’s more about the sense that that someone hasn’t reached their conclusions independently. You can just tell. Usually all you have to do is starting asking “why” a bunch of times.

and an easy tell is if they define themselves as either on the left or the right
I just grind not minding anymore if alone or surrounded by someone.. But definitely yes, always is a time to call out the real life bots, once called NPC that just regurgitate the same narratives they got fed in Mainstream Media.. parrots.
It’s misguided to think this only happens with liberals. Both sides believe the other is “brainwashed,” whether by mainstream media or by influencers and podcasters, and both have endless reasons why their side is different. Most people would agree that being brainwashed is bad. The more useful distinction is between people who use platforms like X, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram, and those who don’t. No one is immune to the algorithms. To use them is to be brainwashed. Thinking one’s above being brainwashed is a sign one probably already is. Choose not to play.
