I don't get it, isn't a pool like OCEAN meant to pool hashing power together to increase the probability to find a block?
If they're solo mining, why join a pool?
If they're in the pool, isn't the block reward shared to all participants?
Isn't Ocean providing optimized templates for blocks to solo miners with DATUM. I'm not a miner and mining is definitely not my strong suit in terms of my knowledge. But as far as I understand it, Ocean is providing software for solo miners. But is also giving you the opportunity to mine in a pool with Ocean. @Luke Dashjr and @Bitcoin Mechanic are the smart guys. I'm just a fanboy. Maybe @npub1qtvl...7dze can clarify some things.
