Yeeeeoooooo 🤙 🤙 Proud of myself. Completed the full triathlon yesterday in a decent enough time. I could have pushed the swim harder but the Australian thing where you go in and out the water segment totally goosed me. Swallowed loads of water and took an elbow to the neck straight after lol. I pushed the bike a bit too hard but I wanted to - and it was fun! Cruising at 45km/h+ with the tailwind section was a rush. I went easy on the run to protect my foot. It gave me grief after10km so I popped a painkiller and cracked on. I reckon I will just have to dig deep and grind out the iron man marathon segment in 3 weeks. Kinda terrified, kinda excited.
