Caught an #Uber from Brussels #BRU airport to Genk today. Was unexpectedly surprised that my driver, an immigrant to Europe from Djibouti (10 years), was ultra #MAGA.. usually when folks (drivers) learn I'm coming from #America, the conversation usually steers towards politics and quite often gun control (most support very stringent controls up to and including confiscation), but this time around in #Europe the sentiments were quite positive for the future of the world after our election. #travel #nostr #politics

One of the (many) things I truly admire about Americans as a culture is how generally tolerant and patient you are with other people's criticisms and more often than not completely unfounded and straight misinformed opinions about your country. Especially my fellow Eurocucks' who don't even have a fraction of that tolerance and readiness to hear criticisms of their holy sacred perfect Soviet gulag nations.

Thank you. Anytime I get into some of these discussions I try to level set the playing field and tell people exactly how it really is. It may not surprise you to learn that most people have an unrealistic and irrational fear of #America about gun violence - that it is rampant everywhere you go. I've actually had people say that they would love to visit here but they are too frightened to come.

I know. It's one of the most ridiculous stereotypes, but it makes sense because it's so intensely cultivated by our media and governments, to keep us completely cucked. They all know and fear the power of something like the 2A.
