We just rewatched Shutter Island by Martin Scorsese. I first saw it when it came out back in 2010 and I knew I would watch it again. Now that I've watched it for a second time, I know I'm going to rewatch it again in the near future.
The film delivers strong performances, a gripping story, and storytelling that makes you question your own perception of reality long after the credits roll.
You already know that I love film noir. Shutter Island is considered a neo-noir due to its style, atmosphere, and costume design, which is another reason I really love it.
Overall, I’d give it an 8/10 (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)!
Definitely worth watching and rewatching.
