My shelf and my wallet cries to build more. I unfortunately find each build to be better than the last. Chasing the dragon right now.
i knew it had gotten bad when i was concerned about whether the transparent, rgb friendly cherry material was changing the key action. now i just buy leopold. i don't understand how they make the same switches feel so much better
I haven't bought a Leopold but when I transitioned away from Cherry switches several years ago I couldn't help but notice how rough they felt. It's a changing moment. Been mostly loyal to Kailh switches when they stopped being just a cheap Cherry clone. Their BOX switches are awesome. Gateron also do incredibly smooth switches. This is my future target as I've gotten into linears recently.
I'm just over here with the same daskeyboard for over a decade. I got a keychron q0 for macros recently and it is giving me the itch, definitely nicer than my daskeyboard.
i have a cherry blue leopold that's maddeningly better than any other cherry blue keyboard, except it's on a mac so the right modifier keys don't even work. i've typed on a lot of things. if you have the cash and haven't tried topre you need one of those

Yea I 3d printed it. Built it myself it's pretty straightforward. You just need a couple cheap control boards, wire and switches. I like them a lot, split keyboards are super comfy
