I am not sure exactly what you are saying. I am just wonding what their legal advice is. From what I have seen from tor they recommend not running an exit node from your home. Perhaps this company has different advice. That is what I was asking about.

Yes. If you're worried about that or paedophiles roaming the streets, then don't run an exit node or let your kids play outside. Which is most people these days. Despite that around 20,000 people run exit nodes for MYST at any time

I have look a bit at tor and have seen they have legal templates and letters for responding to complaints but very clearly state “you should not run a Tor exit relay from your home". I have never run anything like this but I like the idea and will look into MYST.

Well it might not be right or moral but I do care if an action I take will provoke the state to raid my house, take my property and arrest me. As unjustified as this may be it will be something I consider before making myself a target.

I have been running several exit nodes for many years now and never even thought about legal templates. I also don't think about legal templates every time I drive over the speed limit. A young police officer stopped me in my own village for speeding many years ago. I was so aggrieved at people speeding in my village, I had a serious go at him for allowing people like me to speed, he was so taken aback, he apologised. I told him to get his act together and drove off at speed to my house. We are not the same 🫂 but I appreciate your interest in the incredibly enshitificated legal system. 😂

Perhaps we are not the same. I think it is reasonable to take the advice of a service when they tell you not to run a relay from your home (as is the case with tor) But perhaps that makes me a rule following coward 🤷‍♂️

My concerns are not unfounded. The mysterium team has even put out public responses to their node runners being raided by police for distributing illegal content.
