Yeah Monero maxis don't have much of a leg to stand on. Their arguments against bitcoin have all been debunked. And getting private monero has the same obstacles in the way as getting private bitcoin, with the added drawback that it's not pegged to the same price of the white market bitcoin that normies use that gives bitcoin such a huge addressable market.

arguments like "pushing normies to adopt a transparent ledger will lead to increased surveillance and control" have been debunked? really? so homie bitches about the State censoring Bitcoin txs (taxation is a form of censorship) but refuses to acknowledge the advantages of a digital private cash, because in the end it has to interact with the same fiat, censorsed system? "can you buy a house with Monero" ๐Ÿ™„ its a big fucking advantage if you can create circular economies that cant be surveilled by EVERYONE. if you dont understand that, nobody can help you.
It's one thing to work completely outside the system. That's good, that's important, and Monero is useful for that. It's another thing to coopt the system and transform it into something better and more decentralized, that puts limits on their actions. That's what Bitcoin does.
