Be careful with fidelity bonds though. I was stupid enough to lock some coins in one bond, and didn't back up the wallet correctly, as the seed is not enough to retrieve fidelity bonds coins....
Result is 1M sat lost lol
Also while speaking of JAM I offer a 200k sats ( 20% of the lost funds) bounty to anyone able to help me retrieve those sats
So true!
"We must understand that mixing is not a crime!"
Insisting in basic human and civil rights isn't a crime either!
Every time I turn around there's something really cool coming out on Nostr! ๐
try it a few times with higher gap limits if it doesnt show up, just a matter of telling your wallet to scan enough possible addresses in your wallet to find the address with the sats. also, if its been a while since using JAM, you can now import a wallet into it with seed phrase, so do that and its likely JAM has an appropriate gap limit for it to show up without you fucking around with wallet settings.
Will try if you are correct you'll be richer
Is not a crime? The 3 letters agencies of the USA thinsks diferent.
Concerning the gap limit depending on the derivation path of my fidelity bond I doubt that increasing the gap limit will change anything, as it could take billions of addresses to scan right ?
My best chance is that The new import seed Jam feature will do the trick or to ask a Joinmarket dev, maybe he could deduce the correct path depending of the bond maturity and other parameters etc....
i had what i believe is the exact same problem and just took a few tries with the gap limit. is the fidelity bond unfrozen? if not i dont think itll show up in sparrow regardless of gap limit until the bond expires.
Yes it's unfrozen, the timelock expired more than 1 year ago if I remember correctly.
Do I try to increase the gap limit in all wallets (corresponding to jars in jam) or just in the main "deposit wallet" ?
it would only be necessary for the account which has the fidelity bond, which if you dont remember was most likely the apricot wallet which would be the first one that loads up in sparrow when you recover via seed phrase. there is also a date field on the gap limit page, cant remember the field name but try pushing that back to a date prior to the fidelity bond lock too. make sure to rescan the wallet after applying the new settings and give it some time to search.
Yes the apricot is shown in Sparrow as the main wallet indeed.
I'm currently trying a gap limit of 10000 lol 500 and 1000 didn't work (date prior to the fidelity bond tx).
I can see the fidelity bond tx, with the 1M utxo which hasn't moved for 1 year so I'm pretty sure it's the good account.
Jam is still rescanning the blockchain I'm wondering if it's stuck or just long.
patience is key ๐ค have you tried the search wallet function in sparrow on the address?
Nope but I doubt it can change something if it's not on an address already known from scanning previously ? Will try anyway.
Vaccinate ๐
You mean those agencies that break the real laws continually? ๐คฃ๐
Get back to work slave... ๐คฃ
I didn't take a position. I have established a fact. Whatever they want to be a crime will be a crime. Therefore, making coijon is already being considered a crime by these psychopaths. This is just an observation of reality. It is not a value judgment.
I've never been.
Their opinion is noted & disregarded.
They'll come up with many reasons to steal & murder before they burn for it...
Yes, and I will continue to ignore them solemnly, and I will continue to disobey their unfair laws.
The mountains are high & the Emperor is far away.

Dude it seem the last Jam update did the job. Fidelity bonds coins are automatically found.
Since I was in the process of going back to Jam anyway after Samourai was taken down, would you agree that a 50k sats reward "only" for you is fair, as all the job as been done by Joinmarket/Jam team ?
oh, any tip you wanna throw my way is appreciated, friend. just happy you got your corn back ๐ค
You should have receive something on your Stacker News address but I can't see the zap for some reason. I thought SN LN addresses were nostr compatible.
