Reasons I'm into Bitcoin
- control my own money (safety)
- make central banks shit their pants (politics)
- play with my bitcoins (tech)
- grow wealth (NgU)
yes NgU is part of it, why would I want money that loses value? That's such a cope response to pretend NgU is bad

Incentives drive behavior
Bitcoin shouldn't be used solely as a fiat printer I think that's the better way to criticize the NgU thing. And it's very true that a large chunk of the Bitcoin space can't seem to stop talking about dollars all the time. However yes your money going up in value is better than going down in value for sure.
I prefer to look at it more like PGD. Price go down.
NGU is perhaps the most important facet of bitcoin. Reintroduced deflation is revolutionary and yet so ordinary in US history
NgU is a perfectly valid reason to hold #bitcoin, and anyone who disagrees can SmD

NGU was what got me into bitcoin, and is still the most important aspect, but a lot of NGU maxi's look at the price with blinders while missing the sovereign, political, and technical aspects that make bitcoin a whole lot more valuable.
Number Go Up is the Trojan horse that leads to Freedom Go Up.
I can't take credit for this genius insight. Thanks #gladstein
We go up way faster than it goes down, because we are also 100x more useful in addition to being hard money
I meant the price of everything in Bitcoin terms goes down. Bitcoin is the measuring stick. Hard money you can't fuck with.
Ironically it's greed because they want to accumulate more cheaply
NGU is not a bad thing
But I measure wealth in sats
Or try to
So wen people talk about growing wealth, that’s when u can’t assume someone s unit of accounting
NGU for me is # of sats under my control
Bc eventually the fiat “value will be irrelevant
NgU = purchasing power go up. Nothing wrong with that.
Yeah I feel like price is not as important for people using it as currency vs those using it for investment
