Want to make Voice & Video Calls over nostr? Here is how with #Amethyst 1.10.0 ☎️ 📹 Tap DM's Tap the npub you wish to call In upper right corner you will see a video & phone icon By tapping phone a voice call will be made By tapping video a video call will be made There is picture in picture as well 🔥 Both user need to be following eachother for the call to go through or you can toggle all calls off in settings. If using Amber then approve all the permissions as they appear. If using Graphene a bluetooth permission will appear to try and connect to headset, it will then ask permission for microphone and then amethyst will ask to record audio. This works on GrapheneOS and you can even set notifications to show an incoming call 🌐

oh wow, so that's how you do a video call. I was trying to figure out how to do that. I'm glad they required both users following each other or else I'd be getting spammers calling me. Good information thanks for the note.

Voici comment faire avec #Amethyst 1.10.0 ☎️ 📹 - Appuie sur les messages privés - Appuie sur le npub que tu souhaites appeler - Dans le coin supérieur droit, tu verras une icône vidéo et une icône téléphone — En appuyant sur l'icône téléphone, un appel vocal sera établi — En appuyant sur l'icône vidéo, un appel vidéo sera établi Il y a aussi une fonction image dans l'image 🔥 Les deux utilisateurs doivent s'abonner l'un à l'autre pour que l'appel aboutisse, ou tu peux désactiver tous les appels dans les paramètres. Si vous utilisez Amber, approuvez toutes les autorisations au fur et à mesure qu'elles s'affichent. Si vous utilisez Graphene, une autorisation Bluetooth s'affichera pour tenter de se connecter au casque ; l'application demandera ensuite l'autorisation d'utiliser le microphone, puis Amethyst demandera l'autorisation d'enregistrer l'audio. Pretty sure this is just an Amethyst feature right now. Released it yesterday and I got it to work just now. If other clients implement it then yes it should work fine.

Looks like they just threw in a few public TURN + STUN defaults. May or may not work depending on your region/network. They don't work for me. You can input custom TURN, but right now every @Amethyst update is erasing custom values.
