FWIW, Congress does have the power to compel testimony via the granting of immunity - which shouldn't really be an issue considering President Biden had already granted Fauci a preemptive pardon.
That Congress didn't bother to grant Fauci immunity in exchange for his testimony is just an indication that Congress isn't really interested in uncovering the truth (as shocking as that may seem).
Fauci committed Contemp of Congress by refusing to answer questions such as this one.
He obviously committed crimes against humanity on a scale far beyond Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, and Mao combined.
For the punishment to fit his crimes, we will have to reach back in history for execution methods:
Impaled alive through his anus
Burned at the stake
Scaphism
Skinned alive, rolled in salt, left in the sun
Oubliette
Drawn and quartered
Put on a mRNA IV drip forever
