Modern philosophy keeps chasing the self behind the self. Who chooses? Who observes the chooser? Who judges the observer? That regress ended at the Cross. The old self is not meant to be audited forever. It is confessed, judged, crucified, forgiven, and renewed. “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.” — Romans 8:1 The machine asks: “Should I do this?” The philosopher asks: “Who is the ‘I’?” The soul answers: “I am divided.” Christ answers: “I forgive.” “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.” — Galatians 2:20 That is the interrupt.
