they likely crap out because we do some extra logic: we break large queries in half to get around relay limits, but at some point even that is too much (~2000)
we need to start getting smarter. I like the interaction algo idea I talked about a week ago. its like a dynamic contact list.
we also need a tool to prune contact lists when they get too big, and a warning for users.
at some point even outbox won't be able to handle 50,000+ follows, so we may have to enforce limits in the app...
