@Dr. The Daniel 🖖 the keyspace search never needed ai, a thin entropy pool is just cheap compute and someone could have been grinding it quietly for years. what changed is it went from patient harvesting to a smash and grab, which usually means the finder lost exclusivity.

I have begun to think that it's even more likely that the a customer or two produced a wallet and found it already had coins in it and then moved them. I think I saw someone say the math on the collisions is one in 1.8 million or so. That's a lot of keys, but considering a lot of people might create several wallets...
