Is it healthy to spend about 2 to 3 weeks getting about 4 to 5 hours of sleep and then spending a few days getting 9 hours of sleep to catch up? Repeat.

You need to figure out how much sleep your body needs. Everybody needs different times for example, I only need 5 hours of sleep and I wake up refreshed. Not tired ready to go awake if I sleep 6- 7 hours. I wake up tired grumpy.
The human body doesn't need 8-9 hours of sleep. That was a scam.
I think we need as much sleep as we need. I agree some need less than others but If I need 5 hours and sleep for 4 the next day I would need 5.5 or 6 hours to catch up. It's called sleep delrevation.
