it’s priced in bitcoin not dollars .01 btc its for people that want to help the film get widely distributed and be listed in credits accordingly if this first round is successful then people will be able to watch it for much cheaper in the future

its a crowdfund for people that want to support the distribution and get listed in the credits there will be a wider release after, paid by the crowdfund

The world needs many more Julian Assanges. He appeared at Cannes wearing a T-shirt "Stop IsraHell" and listing the names of over 5.000 children victims of the Gaza Genocide. Why @Eugene Jarecki , after working 3 decades for the Jewish film industry was suddenly ostracized by his fellas? Did he became what they call a "self hating jew" because he has taken a public position against the zionist project and the criminal acts of the state of Israel? Just curiosity...

Jack is on stage calling Julian and Snowden heroes, while getting his ego stroked for having funded this film. Really? And from the guy who let the government capture Twitter and censored the fuck out of Covid vaccine dissent, etc, etc? This talk should have been on a smaller stage, if at all.

The film looks great and prescient, but would be able to reach a much wider audience at a 50.000k sats to 0.001 BTC price point 😭 without the production credit. A worthy film to watch but sadly not too many people can show the required support

Fair enough, for many of us arriving in more recent epochs, that’s a small fortune in BTC hence my shock but yes for OGs I’m sure this is just loose change… or a potentially orphaned UTXO (at some future point). So makes total sense as an initial fund raising round. I hope there is strong uptake as it is a very important story to share. “A hero of the ages”.
