I'm willing to bet it's different from the reporting. my question about your anecdote is: how does "somebody" know that "they're grabbing anybody"? to be clear: I don't want to give the impression that I'm in favor of American Citizens or anybody living in fear of a police force, I dont want that. I want the opposite.

This is not a made up story or anecdotal evidence. It’s happening for real and there’s way more evidence available online for people to see and make a judgement. It has happened to me and many of my friends and family. ICE agents will force scan your face with their phone, if you refuse to provide documents or if you don’t have it. It happened to me, I refused to obey their request the first few times. They took out their phone and took a picture of my face. After a few minutes they let me go. Now I carry my passport because I don’t want them to scan my face again. IT IS HAPPENING FOR REAL!!!!!

There is plenty of footage circulating of ice kidnapping random people off the street for no apparent reason
