Going to be looking at $10/# ground beef most likely next year. Consumer demand is already showing signs of shifting more protein consumption to chicken and pork.

Just paid over $6 a lb for fractional cow.
Venison burger is a great way to supplement. We just ground up a bunch of venison, good stuff. Its deer season.

Most of the ground beef in stores near me are already there. Chuck roasts are $12/lb, I used to get ribeyes at that price 3 years ago
That's vacuum packed in my freezer price.
Don't get too excited. Remember that during the Great Depression they made silencers NFA to try to cut down on people hunting for their food.
