There's no shortage of guys telling you everything is broken and getting worse. I think it’s actually a content strategy because despair scales. It keeps people coming back because broken people want confirmation that breaking was the right move.
Bitcoiners should know better. Sound money is historically what happens when people decide the current system isn't worth patching and build something real next to it. That's not a doom thesis, it’s the most optimistic act a person can take.
The guys who built this weren't cataloging collapse. They had a vision of what money could be if you took the liars out of the equation and they went and built it.
Optimism isn't just coping. It's the operating system that makes you useful instead of just correct. You can be right about everything that's wrong and still produce nothing but reasons to give up.
The world has enough despair influencers. What it needs is voices that actually believe we're going to make it.

Right, we need to acknowledge that stating how bad things are in this or that domain can only be the first step. The second and most important step is: what do we do about it?
Precisely. We must be louder than the doomers
what the world needs is people capable of intelligent and accurate threat assessment.
the fake whitepill/blackpill dichotomy is a psyop.
Learned helplessness makes you easier to control. Learned optimism makes you more resilient and agentic
I think about that first paragraph constantly. Any time I listen to a pod by a popular heterodox, dissident, anti-regime, etc, they’ll get some of the problems right, but never the root cause: broken money. And they’ll certainly never mention the solutions, Bitcoin and Nostr. The best you can find is MisesU folks who get the broken money, but they’re just boomer doomers with no solution (Bitcoin.)

💯
listening people talk about fiat problems, complain. but still don't study the bitcoin. instead waste their time doing what ever they are doing, and complain more. then ask you for money.
Optimism is an act of defiance.
