Guys.. I’ve made one of the biggest decisions of my life. I’ve sold a portion of my BTC to buy a farm. It’s incredibly bitter sweet.
On one hand, it’s a terrible time to both sell Bitcoin and purchase property. But on the other hand, it’s dream land. As much water as I could possibly use and fertile land with a small established vineyard and orchard. Plenty of outbuildings with concrete floors and 3 phase power.
I have a modest job, dca into btc and have a couple home miners. I’ll be moving in with family and things will be tight for awhile.
I’ve wanted my own land for as long as I can remember. Moving and selling bitcoin was incredibly easy and worry free. Once it went to USD and got to the banking system, it was frustrating and nerve racking. I couldn’t wait get the down payment to the title company.
It was a great example of how superior Bitcoin is to USD in just terms of moving it around, let alone it’s store of value and permission less nature.
