Brunell was never a hero of mine. I have always wondered how someone with her apparent level of intelligence could attract such a large following. But then I realized that many so-called influencers tend to lack either intellectual depth or ethical integrity, so I stopped being surprised.
That said, anyone who has significant influence over Bitcoin's development should be viewed through a highly critical lens. In my view, they are natural targets for the deep state and the globalist cabal (aka the Epstein class), and their statements, no matter how persuasive, deserve to be taken with a grain of salt and examined always extra carefully.
True, in the blocksize war they were mostly misguided.
I used to follow her as a noob, but quickly got bored of her content. She had some fairly good TV appearances on CNBC and made Peter Schiff look stupid on few occasions, but then I realised anyone with a surface level understanding of Bitcoin and good communication skills can do just as well. The final nail was when she hosted Mechanic and in the middle of the convo she realised how hopelessly centralised mining is. Then she never invited him back. 🤔

After watching her on Tom Luongo's podcast, I realised that she just repeats memorised phrases. The fact that she could not grasp basic questions, let alone answer them, was shocking to me, even though I was already aware that she is not particularly intelligent.
