You can specify how big or small you want to prune. Prune it to 700gb should get you to 2015-2016
If future cool you want full Blockchain history then you can spend more. If the price hurts, running a prined node is a good option with not much downsides for an everage pleb.

Guess you currently have a 1TB SSD? My suggestion would be to buy the 2TB SSD as shown in your picture. Subsequently, migrate data from your 1TB SSD to this 2TB SSD. Guess there is an easy way to do this with MyNode without needing to code.
