Im almost positive. I've also run out of data quicker last two months. I have tested neither but I'm not critic of amethyst and outbox model. Big numbers don't scare me. But I'm almost certain it's been worse on my data consumption and battery.

My gut feeling is also it's worse for data and battery. The cost of decentralisation 😂
