Xournal++ (Xournalpp) is a good One Note alternative for handwritten notes. Make sure you get xournalpp with the "PP" on the end. The old xournal is not so good. Also, it's about replacing the MS/Google/Apple online ecosystems, and getting everything syncing across all your devices without using Big Tech. This is where Nextcloud comes in, and does a great job.

VSCode is Microsoft with telemetry. Maybe replace with VSCodium?
