Trying to fix influxdb stats to show on the websites for relay.tools.. But, it just won't cooperate. A problem with nextjs handling of a connection object. I'm going to have to give up on it for now or completely re-implement. :sadness:
On the upside, relays are quite happening when I look at the stats. Many connections, even for holiday season. Wish I could show them to youuuu.

why influxdb over prometheus?
of course, I can't seem to stop myself continuing to try to fix it. unfortunately, it's just one of those "only shows up in production" things somehow. purely because production gets a lot of traffic I assume..
it's a known bug, called, I used javascript for a backend :)
but yeah, workarounds incoming I think. just was trying to be too efficient, and re-use connections. nope, let's new one each time and pray to the garbage collector gods.
woah, I found it. holy shit. it was just a mis-configuration on one of the app servers. whoops!! lmaoooo
damn, that was tough to find. I need better config mgmt for reals.. And I know better too, how embarrassing.
