You need some heel hook there. Otherwise your body will use your toe to prevent the slippers from flying away with each step. That will reverberate through out your body and negatively impact your posture.
this looks uncomfortable to me. any other recommendations please ? preferably more secure which doesn't tend to slip off ..
Hmmm🤔 …but then every time I looked down I’d have to admit that thing was on my foot😳🥴🙈 To each his own…but not for me🤷🏽‍♂️

Accidental electrical current via the copper nub? Or thats not physically touching the foot?

It looks really good and I love the idea of copper on the outsole for electrical discharge. But I worry that in the event of a lightning strike, lightning often looks for the path of least resistance to the ground, and a copper plug could, in theory, act as that pathway. I had 2 pairs of ESD shoes and it used conductive rubber and conductive plastic at its sole - but sometimes they do add metallic particle - hence I presume there can be some composition of metal and it is still safe, but I don't know how much. In theory the shoes feel like an ideal pair of mules but I worry you might risk yourself esp during stormy weather. Would you be able to check with them first ?

Oh my now we are talking. I need this.
Still will be grounded yeah, especially once slightly sweating as the helps the sock conduct, and best if natural fibers like wool/cotton. Most wear sockless tho, won’t smell!

Please let us know how they fit and feel. I’m interested but curious about comfort and fit.

shoes look great, love the selections of leather type for soles and upper part. My dad had something like this a long time do you. Did you do lightning conductance test and esd discharge test ?
Glad you like them! Yes, they’re conductive even without the copper but copper is highly conductive so improves it a lot. We’ve had some great tests posted on X we’ll work on sharing here!
Happy to 🙏 and yes we do! They *will* be relaxed in the heel, but that’s totally fine as long as you get the length right. Can suggest a size based on foot length - reach out if needed! Also exchanges are free/easy within US

that's great, and yea the rubbing of leather against ground is a good static discharge on its own. As long as its tested against electrical hazard, dielectric strength etc to ensure wearer is not harmed from lightning strike. I think they test it in both dry and wet conditions and infuse up to several k V but lightning can go up to million volts and would go through the least resistant (most conductive path) hence why some grounding shoes tend to come with lightning disclaimers.

Because the shoes are highly conductive, they can discharge static effectively, but high conductivity can be paradoxical as it can also create a pathway for other currents (exposed wiring, possibly lightning which has up to 100,000 amps and electrocute someone). Franklin has static sparks transfer from stormy clouds to metal keys to his knuckles through a wet string. Typically esd shoes with metallic particles have resistance shields. If you have tested it that's great, if you have not, then many industry standard labs can test for electrical hazard / resistance / dielectric strength tests and others alike. Back in the old days, cars tend to have grounding strips to discharge static, but cars also have a metal shield that works as Faraday Cage. Leather shoes, even if highly conductive, would not work like Faraday Cage. If you want people to make safe and conscious choice, you can include disclaimer for lightning, exposed wiring, power lines etc. I love your shoes. Good luck @RHIZAL Shoes and hope these helps! ❤️ Cc @jack - love your childlike enthusiasm and genuine kindness, but try to alive while at it ok?

That's was fast @RHIZAL Shoes I just received my pair. I think I am digging them! They feel special. Sadly the size I got is feels a tad too small. A little worried the next size might be too wide, but we shall see. They are very similar to my quite worn off vivos that I acttually love a ton and still wearing a lot.

I think toes are more jammed than snug. My big toes definitely pushing at the front. 👍🏻

Sadly these didn't fit. One size was too small and the next too big. Hope one day they will make half size ones as I really liked these and wish they would have fit. Gonna try the Kuyu Sherpa but it has been a few weeks wait since they are out of stock on my potential size. Will keep you posted when I receive them :)
