Lmao. 💀 Side note. It’s only back doored if you “opted in” to split your private key and gave it to ledger. It’s not completely sus, yet. lol 😆
Ledger does not have a good track record in the community IMO. Closed source software, leaked a lot of customer data and now encourages to store your seed online in their own service (or even take your cold storage in a Ledger branded hat).
No. The firmware has this 'functionality' whether you want it or not. It could become an attack vector to extract the seed remotely at some point in the future.
Fair. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Sometimes I try and sift through all the FUD out there, but I’m at least aware of some things and have strong people guiding others. Thanks doggy 🫶

Lol Imagine wearing this on a windy day
Easy target for thugs…the biggest thug has a multi trillion dollar wrench attack cocked locked n ready to rock…yet folks here predominately think they’re gonna live in a black market economy until the BTC phoenix rises from the ashes. Laughable. What’s your game plan? Wait it out…skip town…move harder n faster and use the systems rules against em?
You’d have to be a real fucking idiot to: -Walk around with your keys on you regularly -stored in a bright orange hat that says “ledger” on it
What type of bitcoin only hardware wallets can people use securely & the ethics align with the plebs? I've heard about the "foundation passport" or something like that, but I've also had my eyes on the @jack wallet bitkey. I really need to get my shit together. 🤦‍♂️
