There's a fog of war and it looks like some videos and images have already been flagged as fake. The airport seems to be functioning normally according to "official" sources and there are no armed aggressors within it.

mexican news, so take it with a grain of salt, is not the first time that they take advantage of an event like this to deploy the army throughout the country. The same thing happened in 2008 when Felipe Calderón declared war on drug traffickers and deployed the army, in instead of solving the problem, they only caused the death of several people at the same time that the army took advantage of the people's situation, because not only drug trafficking is a problem in Mexico, the police themselves and the army do the same as them. but with what was attempted in October to try to remove Claudia Cheimbaun from power, I am not worried about drug traffickers, I am worried about what the Mexican government will do to take advantage of this situation.
Yeah, it's already turned into a right vs left discussion in social media. The left (chairos, or supporters of the current government) are saying that things are totally OK and not that bad. In my opinion, they're downplaying things.
