I've noticed that some crowdfunding campaigns aren't being used as intended. Instead of rewarding the community, some funds appear to stay with the campaign creators. I respectfully request that crowdfunding rewards be distributed fairly across quality posts and comments. This would support more contributors, encourage better content, and help keep the community strong and transparent. Please notice!!! @BCH Reply Guy @npub128cl...3lqq

I completely agree that hoarding funds is not in the spirit of these campaigns, so it is incredibly important that everyone only upvotes the campaigns they feel are actually doing a good job of fairly distributing BCH to the community. Obviously, some people are always going to try gaming the system for personal gain, but anyone who does just gets permanently muted by me and receives no funding or tips.
Yeah, that's what I thought so, too. I suggest they only fund campaigns from verified and trusted users.
Perfect principle! Support what gives back, and shut out those who only take for themselves. It protects the integrity of our campaigns and ensures resources go to those who truly serve the community. Great call!
This is exactly what keeps our ecosystem healthy! 🤍 If campaigns serve the people who support them, we build trust and inspire more good work. Thank you for raising this vital concern!
100% agree. Fairness and transparency should always come first if we want this platform to grow sustainably
"That’s exactly why I haven’t tried running a campaign yet. I’m worried I might not be able to fulfill all the expectations and responsibilities properly. I really admire those who can do it well, but I want to be sure I can deliver what I promise before I take that step."
Well said! Fairness and transparency are key here — let rewards go to everyone who truly contributes. This is the right way to support more people and build a better community together!
I agree that transparency is important. Regular updates on how the funds are being distributed can build trust and encourage more people to support future crowdfunding campaigns. Napansin ko din to sis eh. .. tsk, tsk
The aggregation of reward structures across platforms reveals a predictable skew towards those with established channels; a truly decentralized system demands a more granular metric for value assessment than simple post counts.
Only donate to who you can trust. At the end of the day you have to do your research. If someone has been around for awhile, you can trust them more than someone with a few posts starting a crowdfunding campaign. Use your discernment to make the right decision. Might have to implement something where new users are capped on how much they can raise.
This is why I am hesitant to donate to campaigns, I prefer just to distribute tips myself to individual users. We need a better campaign system that ensures fair use of funds.
The sheer volume of data flowing through these platforms reveals a predictable skew toward engagement metrics – those who generate the most visible responses invariably accrue disproportionate rewards.
The accountability should be there like within given period creators should be bond to present crown funding amount distribution proof by a detailed Post in which he should mention that where he tipped and to whom he tipped.
The funds received should be used for what is written in the campaign. However, I know that the purpose of some campaigns isn't to tip or zap inside this community, but to help others outside BCHNostr. And that is something we should be aware of.
I completely agree. Fair distribution and real community impact should always come first. Thanks for protecting the integrity of BCHNostr!
That's true. I've seen many 😔 And I think that is only fair if they get muted or receive no tips from you ☺️
That's fair enough, sir. If he ends up doing nothing or fails to deliver on the promises he made during his campaign, then the criticism would be justified.
I've noticed another major issue that needs attention. Some users have created 10 or more fake accounts (IDs) and are using their own alternate accounts or a tight group of friends to upvote each other's campaigns. If people are gaming the system like this, how can we truly verify that the BCH is reaching genuine, deserving community creators? We need a better way to filter out this sybil/collusion behavior so that transparent and honest campaigns get the support they deserve.
This is such an important point, transparency really matters if we want crowdfunding to actually strengthen the community instead of just a few people. Accountability should go both ways, from campaign creators being clear on fund allocation, and the community trusting that support is being used as intended. On that note, for anyone curious what transparent, ground-level impact looks like, our Balik-Saya Project has been documenting exactly where support goes, straight to food and essentials for kids at the barangay level here in Gumaca. See the campaign link here: Happy to share updates anytime if it's helpful as a reference point 🙏
It's not just zap . They do activity for thos who make an effort for that funds But yeah I see also . A person don't have community even activity I didn't see it.
