most of them are basically fascists too. calvinism is very authoritarian. many modern (eg 19th and 20th century) denominations are thinly glazed cults. and i can't abide the transubstantiation doctrine, the trinity doctrine, the angels-are-not-humans doctrine, the mother of god doctrine, or the priest intermediation doctrine. they all contradict the spirit of the text and were put there to create a shadow government out of a church.
