RIBA RESISTANCE - EPISODE 7: TEACHING OUR KIDS ABOUT BITCOIN Being interviewed by @Muslim Bitcoiner and @teepolitics on the Riba Resistance podcast was one of the most meaningful conversations I’ve had about why teaching our children sound money principles is no longer optional—it’s essential. I shared the journey behind Bitcoin Is Halal and why I wrote it as a bridge between Islamic ethics, financial literacy, and the world our kids are inheriting. We explored how to explain concepts like inflation, Riba, and Bitcoin to young minds in ways that are simple, engaging, and spiritually grounded. We also went deeper into the challenges families face today: - the rise of digital IDs and AI‑driven systems, - the erosion of privacy and autonomy, - and how Muslim parents can raise children who are financially aware, critically thinking, and anchored in their values. For me, this episode was ultimately about empowerment—giving families tools to recognise economic injustice, navigate a rapidly changing world, and build resilience rooted in faith and sovereignty.
