My issue is that when our friends and family join nostr, many of them want to post a note with a picture of their family & kids for example, but the majority of people don't want that picture public, I'm positive most don't want strangers having access or even commenting on their notes,
currently it's not possible on nostr to do that, everything is basically public, that's what Facebook is the king, because random people can't comment on your posts unless you accept their friend request.
X is complete trash due to the fact that anyone can comment on your notes, although I think there is a way to make it private but X is just so fake because the lack of friend request which turns it into a spam site.
The filter is good, but thats what I'm suggesting,
I want to completely block everyone from commenting on my notes unless I accept their friend request, which basically would mean i have to purge my friends list and start over, which is be fine with because nostr is just temporary for me,

I and billions of people don't care about the technical details, or how it works. You need to make it happen, not give me half solutions.
This is a private group chat.... Nostr isn't really adapted to this
It's easy to make what you want, it won't be Nostr-native, but it will use Nostr identities (keys) for accounts.
Spam-attacks (friends requests) can still happen, but can rely on Web of Trust to filter out, giving a similar experience as Facebook/X.
For what purpose though? Why not use Facebook instead? Building this, won't be decentralized in architecture, as you "can't" have decentralized and private at the same time.
Could build it on Nostria, but I doubt there are any market for this (people willing to pay or revenue through advertisement with few users is worth little) and I would just be providing yet another service for free.
What are your thoughts on the financial nature of such a social network?
