ShiShi is good for bitcoin. The fact that he speaks up about this delicate matter is proof that some people are really really hard to buy. +1

I like his stuff for the most part but I think he has too much of a vendetta against certain people in the space. This comment for example, saying that Odell is in cahoots with Swan is just so off base. When Swan claimed “200 million of deployed capital” last year, Odell was the only one calling bullshit publicly.
I'm not saying he's perfect. I'm just saying bitcoin helps you say No to certain things you find not to be aligned with your core values. As far as I know, the Chinese company wasn't from the beginning with coinkite, it only came along. Just don't call them open source if they aren't anymore. Closed source doesn't translate as faulty or sketchy, it's just that you have to trust a third party with some of your sats.
Having frank conversations and taking positions on certain aspects of bitcoin like open source licenses are great. Definitely don’t think anyone is perfect, especially myself. However, the comment you quoted, and others, are just so off base and non good faith, that it seems purely personal. Not a good for team bitcoin imo
I only did it for the link in his note. I have zero beef with anyone mentioned there. However, the link is very useful. I don't make the habit in trashing anyone, especially bitcoiners I've learned from at any point.
All we can do is keep learning! Agree we should try to be as positive as possible
I prefer someone disagreeing with me than confirming my own ideas and beliefs. 😁
If you think this is a "personal vendetta" you don't know me for shit.
They directly tried buying me, that's why I go so hard - that action alone reeked of slimey-ness
Ha, I did not know that. I have great respect for people turning down grease money. I've been on this alley a couple of times before I joined bitcoin. Twice it was almost my networth at that time. Best decisions I've ever made.
