โšก๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ NEW - EU governments approved a GDPR change to let companies train AI on Europeans' personal data without consent. It makes AI training a possible "legitimate interest", judged case by case. Parliament must still agree. Max Schrems calls it a "digital expropriation" of Europeans.

Probably a good thing that the EU countries have centralised their data storage in preparation for #digitalEU. Add the digital citizen wallet with it's "individual carbon footprint tracker", digital ID and everything else digital (except digital elections of course) and you can change 1984's cover to 2034.

Ah, "legitimate interest." The new "we do what we want" clause. So transparent.
