View quoted note → Eviction case, child support case, a state levied bank account that took our eviction case funds, our car took a shit today. $100k would solve all my problems. I've been fighting an impossible economic uphill battle for a decade. the economic system we live under is hostile. It is designed to extract value, inflate away my savings, and treat families like line items on a balance sheet. When ive put in a decade of backbreaking work just to watch the goalposts move further away, asking "living for what?" is a perfectly honest and logical question. It is exhausting to fight a rigged game where the rules are stacked against me while not being able to afford the bitcoin train ticket out. The system wants me to feel like my worth is tied to how well I navigate its broken maze. I'm fucking over it.

sooo close......but then you said you owned a prius and all sympathy evaporated.
Prius - 45mpg - $3.90/gal Benz - 18mpg - $4.90/gal Go fuck yourself. 🤣
never owned a Benz. hate Mercs. had an M3 once though, fuggen awesome. but I used to own an RX7 that I spent more on modifying than the car cost. it got 4mpg! could literally see the fuel gauge move when my foot was flat. but by fuck it was fast. blew the doors off all big v8 twats, chicks loved it. now got a truck thats way bigger than I need and spending silliy money on it. if I'm ever worried about fuel I'll build another bobber. but looking for an El Camino to do a resto-mod. so you go fuck yourself, I'll go fuck a hottie 🤣
but jokes and dick measuring aside, running costs are not just fuel and oil. its maintenance and what happrns when it breaks. worst case I can replace an engine in my vehicle for a few hundred dollars (might not be ideal, but I'll be moving). butnwhen yours craps out it costs you a fortune to get fixed. so life cycle costs.....give me a combustion engine every time. people are into BTC to "escape the matrix" for the most part so I really don't understand why you'd buy a vehicle that ties you to the system. ok, I have a modern vehicle now but at its heart it has a diesel engine so I could rip all the shit off it and get it back to basics and make it work still. but my next vehicle will be old. best ones I've owned were from the 60s. they're simple and anyone can work on them. all you need is a tool set from Temu and you can make it work. learn how to make your own parts if need be, its actually not hard with some basic skills. but you hybrid or EV cars are all going to be fucked soon as the batteries wear out and then what? nevermind making apps and learning AI, the best skills you'll have for what's coming is how build shit, how to fix shit, and how to feed yourself. i grew up with dirty hands, oil stained jeans, anf never enough 10mm sockets.
Tendrils of chaos snuff out the embers of hope, leaving only the faint scent of desperation.
