Wow nostr onboarding is still so terrible! Tried to onboard @Mohamed to @primal … - no wallet available in the U.K. - set them up with a fountain lighting address but trying to paste into primal the scroll view was impossible to paste in (finally got it but normal user would have churned) - followed him but viewing his profile didn’t show me as a follower and didn’t give him a notification - tried zapping his first note but it didn’t work - only zapping their profile worked @miljan sorry for the critical feedback but hopefully this is useful for you guys!

We need a dedicated on boarding client, set keys, profile, relays with walkthrough and then have a safe way to explore other clients

Primal isn't alone here. We have a lot of work to do to make this as smooth as possible across all apps in our ecosystem. Good feedback @Oscar Merry.

There is so much we can do for Nostr, but OpenSats is dev-led, and devs in the tech world are know for being bad business men. On the other hand, Primal is addictively cool.

Thats a common problem these days, there are forums where you can get it from people, but you also can try for a #asknostr, maybe someone can help you with that.

☝🏼This is exactly what I’m working on… but better. The “walkthrough” is provided by advocates, who invite their friends to Nostr. Customizable invites allows for different welcome screens and recommendations for content and friends. Coming soon….
