What’s your best argument?

You can't build a business on some else's property. If you do, they're always be in charge of your growth and future.

For real engagement. Organic. Like do you wanna eat the confined pork (factory farms of legacy platforms) or enjoy the free range piglets of #Nostr?
Deep.
Sir… that’s way too much wisdom.
It's fueled by 3 lunch/afternoon beers. Just the right amount to get the creative juices flowing.
Now we know the dosage.
Keep it steady 😂
That’s a solid argument. Business want sovereignty also … right?
Not until Nostr has there even been an option for this.
But also … lots of businesses make lots of money on the wing of other businesses. So this (kinda of idealistic) argument might not be convincing for some.
Is there more?
What about end user sovereignty could actually good for business … on their current bottom line?
This gon be a hot topic in LV … so let’s get warmed up.
What about end user sovereignty ITSELF might actually benefit the business bottom line?
My brother has a karate school on someone else's property and was forced to close during the COVID scare and "forced" to keep paying rent or lose the place. Not a good idea, but for people with limited means there is no other choice.
Great question! Topical based on a conversation we had in our team meeting this morning
I’m thinking … data “ownership” and related liabilities.
Not until Nostr has there even BEEN an option for businesses to collect user data WITHOUT ever assuming ownership for it. 🤔
Let alone the liability of payment processing. Zaps can be split without ever “touching” p2p transactions.
Nostr fixes this.
My first thought after your was Israel Colony on Palestine Land, lol
