The internet is going to become more fragmented.
They want to limit communication between people from different places, that's a big part of it.
They don't want Europeans being exposed to the rest of us and vice versa.

Yes, that's very true. Local intelligence or even police use a language barrier to separate people. It pretty visible in a few places. Pushing for local language only is not natural. But maybe it starts to fail as a separating barrier and they have to come up with something else
Now listen people, because AGAIN no one will listen in another case, and it will take ANOTHER 5 YEARS for anyone to start noticing:
HARDWARE ATTESTATION - including google attestation is an extremely dangerous solution. Way more than age checks - don't ignore it the same way you ignored the possible age checks for years because it will end 1337 times more worse than this.
