For decades they conditioned us to think 2% inflation target meant everything was working well. How is 2% theft a good thing? Is that the level where it feels negligible? Well it sure is theft when the money supply grows at 7%+ per annum and compounds from there. They can manufacture whatever inflation rates they want and manipulate CPI but everyone buying food to feed their family knows they inflated more than they will admit
The spending still wasn't the main cause tho so technically right
Could we stop calling it covid spending? it was money laundering to big pharma shareholders
What exactly did she say? What else could have possibly contributed to inflation? A bunch of people out of work with little or not money to spend?
