Thread - Nostr Hypermedia

I guess what gets me about Nostr is it's just sitting here, anyone can come up with just about anything to run on it. We're all going piss and moan about each other's coin of choice somewhere, but most people would rather do that on Twitter than go somewhere new potentially and use whatever coin they like. Nostr is heavy into bitcoin, but I give the Monero folks credit, at least they are trying with Nostr.

@npub1u6j0...q7z8 it looks like experimental NIPs are taking off now, so I could bolt on EVM ERC20 or whatever tokens onto Nostr for special zaps or payment or whatever!

Ethereum is definitely not my thing, but if people want ERC20 zaps or stuff like that, I honestly think that would be good for Nostr. It's just sitting here, waiting for uses, I don't know why Amethyst hasn't been forked for a bazillion different uses. Is Farcaster still a thing? I vaguely remember that being something tied in with Ethereum, so that might be a hurdle.
